Tradition!
I love our Jewish traditions. The ones God gave us in the Holy Scriptures are wonderful and bring life to us spiritually, physically and emotionally!
But let me tell you, some traditions are not so good, do you hear me? Not so good!
Some people have had a tradition in their family of anti-Semitism.
Not so good! Not so good!
There is another tradition that is hurting some of our Jewish people. One that robs them of a life of more love, joy, and peace in this life and their eternal life.
The tradition that is such a gonnif is the rejection of Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel.
Yeshua, has always been a scandal for us Jewish people. At first we would not even speak of him. He was to be referred to only by a euphemism, a derogatory nickname, or simply an initial letter. As it became necessary to speak of him, he was dismissed with ludicrous fables. Even today, some of our people say, 'Have nothing to do with this person!'
My own mama doesnt believe in Yeshua because she was told not to! Ai, ai, ai if only Mama would think for herself!
Judaism will accept almost any style of belief or practice and will not reject any Jew even if he turns atheist, Buddhist, or to New Age beliefs. He can follow a false messiah,Bar Kochba, Shabbtai Zevi or even a modern day Messiah that never even went to Israel. But these other religious figures never caused us to cry out, 'You are no longer a part of the Jewish family!' But with Yeshua, and Yeshua alone it is a different story. Maybe they know that if you investigate you will find that Yeshua is the promised Messiah of Israel!
Yeshua is believed by many of us Jewish people today to be the fulfillment of Israels hope.
It is Yeshua who has altered the cultures of the world, and brought people in pagan nations to the adoration of the G-d of Israel.
Yeshua is loved by multitudes the world over and is despised most by his some of own people, and in his own nation, which refuses to honor him. But whether he is loved or hated, You will never be able to pass by and simply ignore him.
Some people have thought for themselves and given up the tradition of anti-Semitism. Excellent. Nu?
Shouldnt you investigate and think for yourself about Yeshua?
Isnt it time for you to ask the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, if Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel?
