Honest Rabbi The Deceiver Another Deceiver Credibility No Fear No Answer Scriptures Wisdom

Anti-missionaries are not a threat.  They are not to be feared.  The G-d of Israel, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, draws people to Yeshua and Yeshua reveals himself with one or more signs.   Something supernatural takes place.   It is something G-d does by his spirit.   What G-d does cannot be undone by mere humans.

I can remember the conversations I had with the honest rabbi.   He was known to speak out against Jewish people believing in Yeshua.  He knew the arguments. But when I first met him one on one, I was grounded in my faith.   The rabbi knew, I knew, G-d.  At that point I had been a believer for quite a while. I believe that rabbi knew what I had because I knew Yeshua.

Another time my Messianic Rabbi and a small group of us went to see a de-programmer speaking at a synagogue about Messianic Judaism.  He was very powerful.  I must admit I did feel some confusion.  I went home took a nap and when I woke up, I recommitted my life to Yeshua!

All this mishugas about leaving the Jewish community is ridiculous.  Any Jewish believer in any country where there is a decent size Jewish population can find a Messianic Jewish community.

Believing in Yeshua has nothing to do with leaving Judaism.  That in itself is a ludicrous idea with roots of ignorance and prejudice.

Yeshua is Jewish.  His first followers were Jewish.  Most of the New Testament was written by Torah observant Jewish people!

Some orthodox Jewish people do not consider conservative or reform Jews to be real Jews.  So what.  That is their opinion.

If a Jewish person says that a Jewish person who believes in Yeshua is not Jewish, so what? It is their opinion.

Opinion is not fact.

Many Messianic Jewish people are much more Torah observant than conservative or reform Jewish people.

When we were in Latvia, if all of our three Messianic Shabbat groups went to the one and only synagogue in the largest city in the country, we would have out numbered the people who normally went on a regular Shabbat.

A lady in one of our groups in Latvia had a friend who had been a cantor at that synagogue.  He had moved to Israel, but was coming for a visit.  We were a little concerned about him finding out she had accepted Yeshua.  We were amazed and happy that he told her to "keep coming to us!"  Why because he was excited that she was learning about her Jewishness and beginning to live a Jewish lifestyle.

We must make one point here.  There are Jewish people who come to believe in Yeshua and begin to live like Gentiles.  It is due to sincere, but terrible teaching they receive as new believers.  When an anti-missionary says they are not Jewish, that is a partially false statement.  They are Jewish by DNA, but their lifestyle is Gentile.   We are very grieved when a Jewish person lives a Gentile lifestayle.  The cause is not because they believe in Yeshua, the cause is terrible teaching they receive as new believers in Yeshua.

No believer in Yeshua should fear anti-missionaries, nor should anyone be afraid if someone they know is speaking to anti-missionaries.  If someone is a true believer, the G-d of Israel, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has drawn them to Yeshua and Yeshua has revealed himself to them.  Something supernatural took place.   It is something G-d did by his spirit.

If that person has made an intellectual decision to accept the idea of Yeshua being the Messiah or made a decision on some emotional feeling, then they are capable in that same way of making a decision not to believe in Yeshua.

What G-d does cannot be undone by mere humans.
